Phase 1 – Plan to survive collapse

The above timeline begins on the left with a smaller version of  humanity’s platform than will be needed for Phase 2. In the face on the left we see that humanity’s current vision of the future is a vision of fear. This is because we know that we will not survive the collapse when it comes. In Phase 1 we plan to survive collapse.

Phase 1 begins with the CHI making a standard portfolio. The portfolio is a listing of things that will be needed by each neighborhood in order to survive the collapse. The list is kept short by planning to meet basic needs only and not including the complications of money. Instead voluntary workforces are planned. When the portfolio is completed, then the neighborhood would be considered as ready. Neighborhoods that don’t join, have their plans made by the process of extrapolation. When those neighborhoods join, their extrapolated portfolios would help them prepare much faster.

The basic unit is the neighborhood. In Phase 1 each neighborhood uses a portfolio and profiles to determine how it will feed, clothe, house, provide medicine, and etc. for its people. Neighborhoods determine their projected supplies and establish a volunteer workforce. Two or three weeks after the collapse, after people have adjusted, then Phase 2 begins.

Once a neighborhood has found the ingredients that makeup an item in the portfolio, then that item can become a standard detail that other neighborhoods can augment and use. Standard details would be a major part of the plans and

Humanity’s Platform would be the hub for transmitting them, as well as tracking, and coordinating issues of the portfolios.

The conservation effort of Phase 1 will greatly reduce energy needs and the removal of money would also remove the motive for profit. This means we could make what we need without waste. We would no longer make things with planned obsolescence designed into them. We would no longer make junk that breaks down soon after its bought.

Phase 1 is made for the length of two years, or long enough to allow Phase 2 time to be implemented. The smiley face at the time of collapse reflects the confidence that knowing we can survive the collapse will bring.

Prior to collapse

Just prior to collapse humanity will change. Why? Because there’s a big difference between the countenance of a person who one day claims that they would do such and such if they came down with cancer, and the countenance of the same person on another day when they walk out of their doctor’s office with their terminal diagnosis in their hand. Humanity’s countenance will change in the same way. In Phase I we plan for how to survive the collapse of civilization. Our plan will give humanity the choice of life. When it comes down to life or death, humanity will choose life. Even those with guns, money, and contrary religious beliefs will choose life. But they will only choose life if the choice of life is offered. This is why it’s so important that we’re ready with the Phase 1 plans to survive the collapse at that time. Then humanity will join the CHI in droves. This will be when the portfolios and profiles are filled in by the real people.

When the collapse comes and humanity implements the plans, then people come together in organized fashions as planned. Neighborhoods take advantage of the buffer of waste and will have already devised, selected and prepared their various means of survival. They will opt for vegetarian diets and make use of all areas possible to grow food. There will be vertical gardens, hydroponic gardens, pots that hold giant stews, flavoring that turns grass into good tasting nutritious food, manna making machines, and more.

Phase I provides for Phase 2

In Phase 1 provisions are provided for building out of the remaining part of HP. The Phase 1 plans include methods to turn on small amounts of electricity. Conservation combined with the minuses of business, government, and money allow a dramatically reduced energy need. Humanity’s Platform can be the only part of the Internet that’s brought online as well. (See Humanity’s Platform below)

In addition, Phase 1 includes beginning work on design of a permanent system that provides an endless supply of clean energy. Probably the greatest potential is with binary geothermal power plants. When this Plan of AWWM came to me I had binary geothermal in mind. The CHI may decide on something different. Binary geothermal power plants, however, use a heat transfer liquid, which allows them to use heat as low as 70 degrees C, or 158 degrees F. These temperatures can be found all over the world. Binary plants exude less waste than wind, operate day and night, and can be plugged into the existing electrical grid. There may be other systems that can work as well. I know this is true because I used to be a designer and a construction manager. I didn’t build power plants but have built multi-million dollar treatment facilities. The point is that these systems can be brought on line quickly and the excess energy used to remove carbon from the atmosphere, etc.

Phase 2 – The sustainable future

A sustainable future means a sustainable life. A sustainable life would be different than the life we have now. Humanity has never seen a truly sustainable life before. We don’t know what it would look like or how to design it. In essence, a sustainable future then becomes like a skyscraper, for example. Before a skyscraper can be built, it must first be designed. In Phase 2 we design our new sustainable future.

Currently, there are millions of ideas that could help humanity start life over. Instead of these ideas being used, however, they metaphorically remain in orbit with no place to land. This is because the vast majority of humanity today has little opportunity to submit their ideas. Most people think that even if they could submit their ideas, they would either not be looked at, or if their idea was good, then it would be stolen by some monetary entity. On the timeline in Phase 2 we see a hopper that says all ideas. Phase 2 is when everyone gets to submit their own ideas into the same bin, where each idea is evaluated by the computer processes. In this way technology on HP helps the CHI design the new sustainable future.

Phase 2 is when people decide on whether to use money or not. This website does not condone the mindset of money and, in fact, is based on the perception that money is a poison. In my opinion, the decision to continue using money would be the biggest mistake humanity has ever made because the mindset it would bring would prevent the restoration of nature and certainly cause the end of human life on Earth. The Plan of AWWM, however, is humanity’s plan. If humanity decides it wants to use money, then humanity can. However, once people begin to feel the benefits of not having to pay for everything, not having to account for all of their movements, getting all of their medical and etcetera for free, having time to spend with their families and friends, and begin to see ecological restoration, then they will begin to see the truth of living in a world without money.

Phase 2 begins the time of restoration. People will go down to their local polluted industrial valleys and begin to manually overturn the asphalt, restore the river, store needed materials, and knock down unnecessary buildings. Soon valleys will be restored, rivers will run clean, wildlife will re-inhabit, and children will have places to play.

Additionally, when money is removed then the poison will be gone and the minds of people will clear. True empathy, compassion, love and care will return. Anger will diffuse as well. Frustration and anxiety will dissipate. Soon we will find that the psychologists couch will seldom be needed and there will be far less need for prison cells as well.

There will be adjusting no doubt. People with educations in finances can focus their skills into other areas. Some of them would volunteer to help doctors for example. A doctor’s office would not be concerned with finances and the average workweek would be about 15 hours. To keep doctors also working within that range people who are educated in finances could volunteer to be retrained to assist in the medical profession. Instead of a doctor’s office having 3 or 4 assistants it might have 30 or 40. This is generally how it would work.

If some group decides to go its own way then it can. This process, as I see it, would be completely voluntary. Militant types of groups would be handled in manners decided by the CHI which I have delved into only enough to know that this can be done.

All of this leads us into our new sustainable world. This is how  humanity continues to live on Earth.
